Token Utility
The 0xNet token is designed to be a multifunctional component of the 0xNet ecosystem, serving several key purposes:
Access to Resources: Tokens are used to rent GPU resources on the network. Users pay for the computational power they require in 0xNet tokens, which provides a direct utility in facilitating decentralized computing tasks.
Incentive for Resource Providers: GPU providers are incentivized with 0xNet tokens for contributing their hardware to the network. This mechanism encourages the growth of the network’s resources and ensures a robust and diverse pool of computational power.
Governance and Voting: Token holders can participate in governance decisions, helping shape the development and operational aspects of the 0xNet ecosystem. This includes voting on key issues such as network upgrades, token allocation for new projects, and changes to protocol rules.
Payment for Services: Beyond renting GPU resources, tokens can be used to pay for various additional services within the platform, including specialized software setups, priority task execution, and exclusive access to newly added resources.
Staking and Rewards: Users and resource providers can stake their tokens to receive rewards. Staking helps secure the network and offers participants a chance to earn additional tokens as a return on their investment.
Community Rewards: Tokens are used to reward community members for contributions such as peer-to-peer support, content creation, and community-led initiatives that benefit the ecosystem.
